THE LETTER TO THE ROMANS

To be sure, Paul wrote very heavy with theological truth but always with the heart of a pastor, as one always concerned about the well being of God's people.

BY FAITH THE JUST SHALL LIVE

Eternal life, forgiveness for sins, the right reason for living, salvation from dead works toward God, and a delight in God all find a commonality in the door unlocked by faith.

JESUS THROUGH THE EYES OF A LITTLE MAN

I looked down at Jesus that day but I will look up to the Lord of glory forevermore. I hope you have done the same. Peace!

HOW JESUS CHRIST GIVES MEANING TO BELIEVERS

In verse 16 he goes on to tell us that "By common confession, great is the mystery of godliness." In other words, we all know that godliness boggles the mind, when we stop to think about it. How in the world have I been made righteous enough to stand before the God that is said to be a consuming fire?

THE LORD IS THEIR INHERITANCE

A saving knowledge of Jesus Christ begins with the forgiveness of sins through repentance (a turning away from those sins), and faith in Him alone.

A HEART OF WORSHIP

One of the most clear teachings in all the Bible is that the people of God are set free to worship Him. WITH FAITH OF A CHILD

“Truly I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child will not enter it at all."  (Mark 10:15)   In my last blog we saw that God restricts entrance into heaven to all men who do not posses saving faith, and this He does because of the extent of … Continue reading WITH FAITH OF A CHILD

ENDURING UNBELIEF

“And He answered them and said, "Oh unbelieving generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I put up with you? Bring him to Me!"  (Mark 9:19)   One time in each of the Gospel accounts of Matthew, Mark, and Luke Jesus posed the question, “How long shall I put up with … Continue reading ENDURING UNBELIEF

SAVING FAITH

“Simon Peter, a slave and apostle of Jesus Christ, to those who have received a faith of the same kind as ours…” (2 Peter 1:1). “I believe in God” has to be the most self-deceptive phrase ever used by man; the faith that the Bible refers to as saving faith is not the faith that … Continue reading SAVING FAITH
