Consider that from the time a person prays and believes that his prayer has been answered, there is still time for doubt. It is that doubt that has kept many a prayer from being answered.
Because a believer has assurance of salvation he is kept from sinning, and when he does not sin he is given an assurance of salvation. Therein lies a victorious cycle that no believer can afford to be without.
